Over the years I have noticed two main engagement ring designs that I customise so I have decided to write a short blog on my opinion and thoughts on the two.
I really like a halo design if it in proportion with the centre stone & no gaps between the halo and centre stone. If you can get a really snug fit around the centre stone it can increase the overall look and size of your diamond or coloured gemstone. Fine claws or “floating diamond”setting style is my favourite custom engagement ring look. I have created a special design called the “Da Vinci” it has the floating diamond setting with hidden filigree work underneath. I am a big fan of customising engagement rings to suit your taste and style.
Solitaire designs are for the classic & the traditional I feel. If you are worried a style might go out of fashion or you would like to be not as “Blingy”and a little more elegant and understated I think a really nice solitaire design is the way to go. I have created the “Rembrandt” which is a solitaire design but it has a slight filigree detail on the side so the engagement ring has a flow and style to it.
