90% of diamonds over the world have inclusions or imperfections inside the stone. It is important find the right combination to suit your size, budget, look and design. For example –
As a rule I like to say in a 1.00ct brilliant cut diamond once you jump up each clarity from an SI2 you add $1000, of course depending on a lot of other specs with the stones.
My clients that head towards the IF, VVS1 or VVS2 are after a specific investment piece where the price jumps dramatically.
Other clients are happy to purchase stones around the VS1, VS2 or SI1 clarities which is my recommendation. You will defiantly not view any inclusions with the naked eye so you can put the budget towards the size you are after.
SI2 or I1 Clarity stones are touch and go, sometimes we can find a really nice SI2 and others are not so nice. Once you drop to an I1 the inclusions will be visible with the naked eye which is something I and my clients like to stay away from.
